When did you first start taking classes at MOXIE? Late summer in 2016
What did you find most challenging? I started MOXIE after I had my daughter, so every class was a challenge. Running was my only workout before I got pregnant and I stopped running when I got pregnant. A lot of the workouts I was doing in MOXIE were new to me. My body did NOT bounce right back. Consistency and being vulnerable about my lack of strength was the most challenging at first.
What was the first change you noticed once you started working out at MOXIE regularly? How good I felt! My energy was up and my overall mood was better.
Three words that describe how you feel after a sweaty workout? Accomplished + Focused + Badass 🙂
How do you motivate yourself when you just don’t wanna? I try to plan my workouts in advance, like on Sunday, which helps to keep me accountable. I always keep in mind how great I will feel afterwards. I mean, it’s only 4% of my day… right? 🙂
