I moved to Orange Beach in June 2016 for a total lifestyle change due to stress and health. In December of 2015, I had a health scare and was put in the hospital for a few days due to stress. I let things slide in the exercise and health area and was 30 pounds overweight.

I worked with a personal trainer in the past and knew it would help me with consistency. After calling a few trainers in the area, no one returned my calls. Lifestyle Performance Medicine recommended I contact MOXIE and introduced me to Stephanie.

I met with Stephanie and Jennifer for my initial consult. We discussed goals, commitment and lifestyle. I started attending classes 4 nights a week – ride, fusion, yoga, barre – I like them all.  I train with Jennifer twice a week. She is awesome! Jennifer modifies exercises to accommodate my joint and mobility issues. For years, I’ve been buying diet books and trying to follow special diets.  Jennifer sat down with me and we talked about healthy food options that made sense with my lifestyle. We went to the grocery store and shopped for healthy food together. After a couple of weeks, I was able wear dress pants that did not fit before training at MOXIE.

I already feel better and am seeing progress. MOXIE is a great place. It is a judgment-free zone and the staff is professional, qualified and truly care about the well-being of clients.

Taking the next step to get where I want to be was hiring Jenn Faulk as my trainer. She pushes me to be my best! I didn’t think I had it in me, but after a few training sessions, I’m seeing great changes. I have more energy and feel incredible!
