When did you first start taking classes at MOXIE? September 2018

What did you find most challenging in the beginning? To stay motivated after working out for several months, then I noticed any changes in my body!

What was the first change you noticed once you started working out at MOXIE regularly? Increased energy level

Three words that describe how you feel after a sweaty workout? Accomplished/Motivated/Happy 

How do you motivate when you just don’t wanna? I think about how good I will feel after I workout and what a slug I will feel like if I don’t go. I sign up for all of my classes for the week on Sundays with the mindset of not changing my schedule. The MOXIE cancellation fee keeps me motivated! 😂

Favorite way to reward yourself after reaching a fitness goal? Massage, beachtime, and Tito’s 

What would you like to accomplish fitness-wise in the next 12 months? To continue to build up my endurance and strength but would love to get rid of my butt double chin 🤣

How does regular exercise make you a better mom? Regular exercise makes me a better mom! Taking care of myself has become a priority for me because I feel healthy and have more energy. Because I feel so much better it gives me more energy to do more with my family. 
3 tips for making time to exercise:
 1. Set the alarm clock early to get your day started with a good workout. Once you start working out early you realize that extra time in the mornings is worth losing that extra hour of sleep.
2. Set a schedule for your workouts for the week on Sunday and don’t waiver. Make your hour of exercise as important to you as everything else you do on a daily basis. Stick to it!
3. If making it to a workout class doesn’t work for your schedule that day, you can make time to do something even if it is a walk or run or a quick workout in the living room. Even 15-30 minutes of exercise can make a difference in how you feel and lead to a healthy you.
How does the MOXIE community help you stay on track and consistent? The MOXIE community helps me stay on track by offering a variety of classes to give me a well rounded workout routine, by giving me workout buddies to keep me accountable, and by having awesome instructors that care about my progress!
